My Philosophy
True wellness arises when we care for:
• The body through movement, nourishment, and medical insight
• The mind through awareness, balance, and emotional health
• The spirit by reconnecting with our inner stillness and deeper nature
Your journey to balance, vitality, and deeper connection begins here.
I am Dr Vimple Bhalani, a medical doctor, yoga teacher, and wellness guide devoted to helping people become the best version of themselves — physically, psychologically, and spiritually.
My work is grounded in the belief that true health is not merely the absence of disease, but a state of balance, vitality, and deep connection with the self. By integrating modern medicine with ancient wisdom, I support individuals on their journey toward lasting wellness, graceful ageing, and inner fulfilment.
True wellness arises when we care for:
My medical journey began in 1999, when I joined the Indian Army Medical Corps, serving the healthcare needs of army troops and officers. Those formative years taught me discipline, resilience, compassion, and the importance of caring for the whole person under challenging circumstances.
After five years of service, I moved to the United Kingdom, where I continued to broaden my medical expertise within NHS hospitals. In 2007, I qualified as a General Practitioner, a role that deepened my understanding of long-term health, prevention, and the impact of lifestyle on disease.
Over the years, I have worked across diverse healthcare settings, including Nuffield Health, where I served as a Corporate GP, providing medical cover while focusing on health optimisation and workplace wellness.
Currently, I practise as a Private GP at LycaHealthOrpington, delivering personalised, patient-centred care.
My journey into yoga, meditation, and mindfulness began even before I became a doctor. In my early twenties, I completed both the basic and advanced courses with the Art of Living Foundation, experiences that profoundly shaped my understanding of the purpose of the human journey.
Through years of practice, study, and teaching, I developed a deep appreciation for the transformative power of breathwork, awareness, and stillness. In 2017, I qualified as a Yoga Teacher with Sivananda Yoga, London, and I also practise Kundalini Yoga.
Yoga and meditation are not simply practices to me — they are tools for self-discovery, healing, and alignment, helping individuals reconnect with the deeper intelligence within themselves.
In 2010, I co-founded a Health & Aesthetic Clinic, allowing me to pursue my passion for Aesthetic Medicine alongside clinical practice. I view aesthetics as an extension of wellness — supporting confidence, self-expression, and healthy ageing rather than chasing unrealistic ideals.
My approach to longevity and wellness combines:
I believe that longevity is not just about adding years to life, but life to years — living with clarity, energy, and purpose.
Outside my professional work, I am a dog lover, a lifelong learner, and someone who deeply values presence, compassion, and simplicity. Every experience — personal and professional — continues to shape how I support others on their wellness journey.
